Nataya Resort
has to be the nicest location on the coast line. we
checked out a few in Kep and Kampot but didn't come across any places
that could compete with the package of comfort, pool and calm offered by
Nataya. Compared to similar hotels in Vietnam and Thailand located on
stunning beaches, the price at Nataya is arguably a little high. But
they do have stunning views and attractions to offer, especially when
they get their fitness room built. A word of caution to the management:
keep investing in cleaning the premises and basic maintenance or the
hotel will soon drop in popularity. A lot of the wood work by the pool
and in the huts is damaged - and has been for while - and needs urgent
fixing. Lovely staff, all of whom come from poor communities, so kudos
to the management for giving them a chance. Their little command of
english requires a patience on the part of the guest which is fair
enough yet challenging when you keep getting a diff dish served than
what you ordered :-)
